Duffy Consulting was formed in 2003 by Amy Duffy, its managing member, to focus on outreach, government relations and military sustainability issues. Prior to forming her own company, Ms. Duffy worked in government relations for both private and public entities. She has over twenty-five years’ experience with efforts at the local, state, regional and national levels.
She has worked with the Department of Defense (installations, Military Services and Office of the Secretary of Defense) for over 20 years in various capacities on such issues as land use planning, encroachment management, environmental, energy and airspace, with a focus in the Western region and has supported numerous DoD entities by analyzing potential impacts of planning activities and developing recommendations and best practices to best address these impacts in a proactive manner.
Ms. Duffy has considerable expertise working on issues in the west. She has conducted outreach and agency coordination with Federal agencies, State, Tribal and local governments and other Western regional organizations in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah and has developed various documents to outline issues, recommendations and next steps for actions to best address natural resources, airspace and energy issues in the west. She has also staffed and provided technical support to numerous subject committees by drafting reports and fact sheets, facilitating webinars on key issues and organizing meetings for key western policy makers.
Ms. Duffy has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration.
